Biography

Dr. Lopez, of Filipino descent, came from one of 7,100 islands in the Philippines. She consults at the University Center for Reading, Learning, and Assessment. Trained in assessing various individuals with academic challenges, she is also a certified Orton-Gillingham-based Multi-sensory Approach Consultant, consulting with a diverse clientele of all levels. Her research interests are in Multicultural teaching strategies as well as strategies for students with various disabilities.

Current Research or Professional Activities

Dr. Lopez assists with research projects at the Multi-Health Systems in Tonawanda, New York, and at Pearson in San Antonio,Texas.
