Rose Eide-Altman began working at Andrews in January 2020. She is from Maryland where she primarily worked as a music educator, teaching classroom music in church schools and public schools, directing community and church choirs and teaching private piano lessons in several Adventist schools. After earning her Master of Music degree in 1996 she frequently taught music courses in higher education, most recently at Carroll Community College, Westminster, MD where she taught all the piano courses for 11 years. Rose has also worked in office settings throughout her life, at Washington Adventist Hospital for 10 years part-time and most recently at Atholton Seventh-day Adventist Church, Columbia, MD. She and her husband David frequently played piano/organ duets for the service music in several Adventist churches in the Washington/Baltimore area. They have 2 daughters who both went through SDA schools and universities, one living in Sacramento, CA and one in Niles, MI.
