Denise Shaver, PhD, serves as Lead Curriculum and Instructional Design Specialist for the Department of Digital Learning and Instructional Technology. She provides instructional design support for a variety of online courses offered by Andrews University, ensuring a quality experience for faculty and students in the online delivery process. She supports assessment, outcomes, learning activities, and technology tools used in the online learning process. She also supervises the Instructional Facilitators who assist with online course delivery. Prior to her current position in the School of Distance Education and International Partnerships she was the Assessment Coordinator for the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary from 2012-2014. In 2014 she completed her PhD in Curriculum & Instruction from the School of Education at Andrews University. Her teaching career in post-secondary institutions began in 1997.
