The Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at Andrews University runs January 14–19, 2010. The week’s theme, “Building the Beloved Community: Transforming Minds...Redeeming Humanity,” aims to inspire others to continue the social justice legacy of Dr. King through speakers, co-curricular discussions, service events and a scholarly symposium. As part of this celebration, food drive will run from Jan. 7 through Friday, Jan. 15, during which individuals will have the opportunity to donate non-perishable food items for drop-off in the marked receptacles provided on the Andrews campus.
