5:45-9 p.m. (the transit itself begins at 6:04 p.m.), Roof of Price Hall, Science Complex

All are invited to come view the Transit of Venus on Tuesday, June 5 from the roof of the Science Complex at Andrews University. Telescopes with solar filters will be set up to view Venus passing in front of the sun. This is the last time we'll be able to see this event from earth until 2117. Tiffany Summerscales, assistant professor of physics, will be on hand to talk about the transit and answer questions.

Please wear soft-soled shoes. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Parking is available in any of the lots near the Science Complex. Signs will be posted to direct you to the roof.

In case of clouds or other bad weather, we'll watch the transit in Haughey Hall 133.
