Kwame Deonge-Moore: The Disability Law
The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) is a federal law of the United States which addresses the educational needs of children with disabilities from birth to age 21. IDEA governs how states and public agencies provide early intervention, special education, and related services to children with disabilities. “It is designed to protect the rights of students with disabilities by ensuring that everyone receives a free appropriate public education.”
