    Bell Hall, Room 013

AICER presentations for the Spring 2014 will resume  on Tuesday, January 14, at 5:30 p.m. in Bell Hall, Room 013, with a presentation entitled, "A Qualitative Study of the Integration of Faith and Learning:  The Levels of Integration Model”

Presenter:  Dr. Pauline Sawyer,  AssociateProfessor of Psychology at Oakwood College

In this presentation Dr. Sawyer will discuss  how  professors at a faith-based institution integrate faith and learning? The results from the qualitative grounded theory study involving semi-structured interviews of twenty-eight faculty indicate that faculty integrate faith both in and out of the classroom, in practical as well as theoretical ways that positively impact the students both academically and spiritually. She will propose a model of the levels of integration to summarize the findings, and compare the model with other integration models.

Face-to-face participants meet in Bell Hall 013.
