Wind Symphony Spring Concert

The Andrews University Wind Symphony will present their spring concert in the Howard Performing Arts Center on Sunday, April 13, at 4 p.m. The Wind Symphony will perform Shepherd’s Hey by Percy Grainger, Water Music Suite by Handel, Variations on a Korean Folk Song by John Barnes Chance, Canzon noni toni by G. Gabrieli for two brass choirs, Symphonic Dances from “Fiddler on the Roof” by Jerry Bock/Ira Hearshen and the Clarinet Concerto by Philip Sparke featuring Jason Gresl on clarinet. Jason Gresl is an adjunct instructor of clarinet and saxophone at AU. The AU Community Brass Ensemble, under the direction of Omar Carballo, will also perform the Bach Buco by Tico Meneses.

General admission is $5, student and senior admission is $3 and children under 12 are free.  Call the Howard Center Box Office at 269-471-3560 for tickets.
