Andrews University wants to bring you into the family

Andrews University is dedicated to our students. Due to the safety measures pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic, GRE, GMAT and TOEFL exams have been cancelled around the globe, leaving many prospective students feeling uncertain about university admission. As a demonstration of our commitment to you, we are offering a solution to all new graduate level applicants for Summer and Fall 2020 who haven’t been admitted yet and who haven’t yet taken the GRE, GMAT or TOEFL exams.

We are considering for provisional admission students with no GRE/GMAT test scores and students with Duolingo English Test for Summer and Fall 2020.

  • Students admitted provisionally with no GRE or GMAT test scores will be required to submit GRE or GMAT scores within the first semester of classes. Please note that admission requirements may be different from program to program. Visit your academic program page to see if GRE or GMAT is required by your program of interest.
  • Students unable to take TOEFL or EILTS exams may submit Duolingo English Test. Students who are accepted provisionally via the Duolingo English Test will still be required to take the TOEFL ITP in the Center for Intensive English Program (CIEP) upon arrival on campus.

For scores, please use the following chart:

CIEP-only Pathway 1* Pathway 2* Regular admission
Below 90 90-95 100-105 110 or higher

* For more information about The Language Pathway Program, please email ceip@andrews.edu

While this does not guarantee admissions to all applicants, we feel that you certainly deserve consideration.  We hope that this solution will give you time to adjust your focus and prepare for Andrews in the Summer and Fall semester. If you have any questions, please contact us at graduate@andrews.edu.
