At University Towers, we know we can't replace home, but it's our goal to provide a comfortable, convenient and family-like atmosphere. We also promise to do our best to support you as you transition to a new phase of your life. During each semester, we provide the basics you need, along with plenty of opportunities for you to bond with your friends down the hall.
Burman and Damazo residents can depend on 24/7 access to on-call medical professionals in case of an emergency. During regular business hours, the University Medical Center is open to remedy minor problems. If you must miss class to meet an appointment, excuse slips are available from them for your professors. Andrews University health insurance covers visits to the University Medical Center, local clinics and hospitals/emergency rooms. If you will need transportation to the Medical Center, indicate that at the time you make your appointment in advance, and they will arrange transportation for you.
Safety is a high priority at Andrews University residence halls. If you are a victim of, or witness of physical abuse, assault, harassment, verbal threats or any other conduct endangering someone's health or safety, it is your responsibility to alert the Dean on duty or Campus Safety, so we can help. Keep your valuables locked up and use common sense. Renters insurance is recommended.
We offer much to make your residence hall stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Borrow a vacuum to clean up after that Super Bowl party or fuel a midnight study session at one of the vending machines. Kitchenettes, laundry service, health club, are just a few more of the things available for your convenience.
