Applications are being accepted for students who wish to take a leadership role in the Andrews University Student Association (AUSA) for the 2011–2012 school year. Applications for elected positions are being accepted now through February 2 at 9 a.m., and applications for non-elected positions through February 25 at 9 a.m., both in the Student Life office.
  
Elected positions include Andrews University Student Association (AUSA) president, vice president, religious vice president, Cardinal (yearbook) editor, CAST editor, Student Movement (newspaper) editor and recreation director. Candidates for these positions will speak to the student body on Thursday, Feb. 10, at 11:30 a.m. in the Howard Performing Arts Center. Students will cast their ballots in the Campus Center on February 14–18.
   
Non-elected positions include executive secretary, associate secretary, AUTV director, student services director, parliamentarian, sergeant-at-arms, educational standards and research director, business manager, ad sales manager, treasurer, public relations director and web coordinator.
