What inspires you about working at Andrews University? I am inspired by teaching, it’s what I love to do. There is great satisfaction in seeing my students after they graduate, and knowing I might have played a small part in what they have become.

What motivates you to share your heart@andrews? What motivates me is my students. I often tell people they either keep me young or make me old, but the truth is the former. These guys are so full of life and they just can’t wait to get out there and help people, and with that attitude my job is really easy. God will use them, and is using them!

February 2019

In the month of hearts and Valentines, instead of awarding four employee recipients with heart@andrews awards, President Luxton chose to thank all employees who persevered through the polar vortex and other winter challenges, by providing Crepes by the Lakes food truck. Faculty and staff stopped by on a sunny and brisk February day for a free crepe and fellowship with friends "as a token of my appreciation for sharing your heart every day."
