The architecture faculty aspires to teach sound thinking, practical skills, and rigorous scholarship in the discipline of architecture; and promotes students who: Craft buildings that are dignified, durable and purposeful; Design communities that foster civility; Serve mankind in accord with their professional and Christian vocation; Seek the virtues of joy, beauty, wholeness and moderation in their lifelong pursuit of learning. All this for God's honor and His glory until the risen Christ comes again.

Find your place here and stand out in the world.

We come from all over the globe, but our faith binds us. Because we see ourselves as a  community, making time for relationships is important. Students and teachers talk to each other; we eat together, celebrate together, and pray together. With our Heavenly Father as our example, each person is an important part of the family.

We are each practical caretakers of our communities, and custodians of all that with which our Creator has lovingly gifted us. To that end, our program promotes ways in which talents, time, and resources can be used wisely and for His glory.  We have accepted the call to be stewards throughout our personal and professional lives.

When we accept that God wants the best for us, we will trust His guidance for being happy. Because people are happiest and most efficient when they are healthy, the wellbeing of our students helps shape our school and our approach to the profession. Corpus, Mens, Spiritus is a motto with practical application for you as a healthy member of our family.

Service is far more than important mission work. It permeates our studio projects and helps form our attitudes about what is valuable. But most importantly it is helpful. We are called to serve, and with that as a premise for our program, our students develop a special understanding of their roles as professionals, citizens, and Christians.

Our accredited, award-winning program strives to prepare you for success in a professional career. God has created us for excellence in all areas of life. By God's grace and working along side the experience of gifted teachers, our students are able to achieve high standards. Professional offices hire Andrews students.

Travel allows students to understand what makes places special. It can be a meaningful experience and provides opportunity for spiritual growth. Whether seeing a building under construction, or observing how a firm runs their office, or feeling the breeze on your face as you sketch in a thousand year old village square, we see value in helping students to see their world firsthand.

Just as our Creator has made beauty all around, we are gifted with creativity to shape our world for the better. Everyday brings challenges that can be met with creative solutions.  Armed with a unique set of skills and a broad range of knowledge, we equip students with tools for practical life. By developing creativity, we make you stronger.

Christian Love

Everything that makes us different is connected. By Love. A humble love that comes from knowing God is in charge, and that we get to collaborate with Him in developing professionals for service. Love what you do and those for whom you are called to serve. Build your career and your faith in a community that supports you. Join our family and let us help you build your calling.

The School of Architecture & Interior Design is different. We are really a big family who cares about helping our community through service. We care about training students to become healthy, creative professionals. We care about visiting places from which we can learn to make good places. We pray for our students and for each other as we live out our missions to the glory of our loving and creative God. We hope you'll join us.

True education means more than the pursual of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers. It prepares the student for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.
