Biography

I am a passionate professor who loves teaching, students, schools, universities and above all, I love people! That is why I have a lot of fun when I am teaching and surrounded by students and faculty.

I have focused my research agenda on two main areas, with recent publications and presentations in the field of learning implications of instructional technology, both in online and face-to-face environments. My other major area of interest is in leadership development and performance improvement, including my current studies in global leadership and learning, with a focus on internationalization of Education. I have applied my research findings both in teaching and in corporate training with private consulting. As a writer, I am the author of three books: From the Overhead Projector to the Digital Classroom; Leadership: A Matter of Competency; and The Art of Preaching. Besides, I have authored several journal articles and book chapters with different publishers.
