Becoming a Member

Andrews International Center for Educational Research invites scholars and researchers to join as Research Fellows, Research Affiliates, or Research Associates. Prospective members must meet the eligibility criteria and qualifications for the required membership level.   If you wish to join and be associated with the AICER, please fill out the MEMBERSHIP FORM HERE.

Research Fellows work with the Center to:
a. Direct AICER research teams
b. Create new research projects that match the Center’s mission and research team goals
c. Serve as research design and methodology consultants on Center projects
d. Advance current research agendas by adding new populations or participants
e. Work with graduate students to support their research development

Fellows’ qualifications include the following:
a)   Completion of research that aligns with the Center’s mission
b)   Have a terminal degree (PhD or other doctoral degree)
c)   Be regularly engaged in research (at least one active project every 3 years)
d)   Have had grant support for at least one past or present research project

Research Affiliates work with the Center in the following ways:
a. By collaborating or share their research with the Center on shared projects
b. By supporting  research fellow projects or publications 
c. By providing data collection and analysis services or support
d. By working with graduate students to support their research development

Affiliates’ qualifications include:
a)   An earned graduate degree
b)   A desire to be actively connected to AICER research teams

Research Associates
Associates must be students:
a) Working on graduate or undergraduate degrees, and
b) Are supervised by a Fellow or an Associate on an AICER research team project

The Center produces publications and organizes symposia at which Fellows, Affiliates and Associates present. A newsletter is also being organized with 2015 as the projected start date.  It will regularly list active Fellows, Affiliates, and Associates.
