B.S. in Computer and Information Science, University of Maryland University College
Amy was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, and moved to Guam at the age of eight. She returned to the States to attend academy, which she finished at Collegedale Academy. She met David Waller at Collegedale and they were married in Apison, Tennessee. Amy worked in dental assisting and dental lab for 13 years followed by 13 years in accounting. She received her A.A. from North Florida Junior College, and then her B.S. in Computer and Information Science with a primary emphasis in software engineering from University of Maryland University College. Her secondary emphasis was Business Management with a primary emphasis in Accounting. Before coming to the Berrien Springs area, Amy worked at the North American Division in the Information Technology Department for eleven years, where she served as a programmer analyst and then assistant director. Amy joined TLC in July 2013. When she isn't at her desk supporting TLC faculty and students, she enjoys travel, knitting, crocheting, raising a puppy, baking, photography, SCUBA diving and a lot of other things that it is hard to find time for.
