Welcome to the Office of Seminary Assesment webpage. Seminary assessment works in conjunction with the University’s Office of Institutional Assessment. If you have any questions regarding university-wide assessment, please contact the Office of Institutional Assessment.

The Office of Seminary Assessment assists the seminary in developing student learner outcomes and assessing their accomplishment. In addition to consulting with faculty, department chairs and program directors, the office ensures that student learning outcomes align with the seminary mission and goal statements and meets accreditation requirements.For further inquiries please contact the Seminary Assessment Coordinator.

Educational effectiveness is highly valued at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary. We assess instructional educational effectiveness in a variety of ways including our students’ completion and employment rates as the following data sets illustrate.

Employment Statistics from Andrews University Alumni Survey

In spring of 2012, Andrews University conducted a survey of alumni who graduated 5 years previously. From the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary, 21 responded.

In the spring of 2010 the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary conducted a survey of recent Master of Divinity graduates and found that 76% of respondents were employed.
