Stephanie Carpenter is an Associate Professor of History at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, MI. She joined the faculty in 2014.
Dr. Carpenter's primary research areas include American agriculture, 20th Century United States history, women in history. Her dissertation research resulted in publication of the first book-length study of the Women's Land Army in World War II. On the Farm Front: The Women's Land Army in World War II examined the wartime program that placed women on American farms (Northern Illinois University Press, 2003).
