iOS 10 & macOS Sierra Connectivity

March 30, 2017 -- Apple has released the latest update for iOS (10.3) and macOS Sierra (10.12.4). These updates have enabled iOS and macOS Sierra devices to once again connect to the au-secure wifi network.  Your device must first be updated to the latest operating systems: iOS 10.3 for iPhones/iPads and macOS Sierra 10.12.4 for Macs.

See the Connecting to au-secure page on how to connect your device to au-secure wifi network.

September 20, 2016 -- Apple released their new macOS Sierra operating system. Pre-testing revealed connectivity issues with both macOS Sierra and iOS10 to the au-secure wifi network.

For students, faculty and staff who have the new iPhone 7 or wish to upgrade their older Apple devices to either macOS Sierra or iOS10, a manual workaround to connect to the Andrews wifi network is available at the ITS Service Desk located in the University Bookstore. This manual workaround will continue to provide wireless connectivity until a solution is reached.

For questions regarding this issue:

Note to Faculty & Staff: University-issued Apple desktop or laptop computers should not be upgraded to the new macOS Sierra until ITS has tested and resolved any connection issues that may arise. For questions, contact your ITS Building Technician.
