Working Remotely - Connecting to Network Drives

Connecting to network drives allows University employees to access files stored on University servers. Storing files on network drives provides a user more storage space, backups of their files, and secure ways of sharing files between departments.

Access to network drives, such as G drive, is automatically granted based on role.  For more information on how access is granted to Andrews University network resources, see our Shared Network Resouces page.  If a user is in need of permissions to network drives, then supervisors or departments can contact their ITS building technician or email the ITS Helpdesk at helpdesk@andrews.edu.

Users attemping to access Andrews network drives off-campus or on personal devices must be connected to the University’s virtual private network (VPN) first.
