Since 2012, the Office of Research and Creative Scholarship and the J.N. Andrews Honors Program have worked together to organize a poster symposium in which Undergraduate Research Scholars and Honors Scholars present their research. 2014 marked the first year that the Poster Symposium was open to all Undergraduate Researchers.
This symposium celebrates the efforts of undergraduate researchers and their faculty mentors. Thanks to the efforts of student researchers and their mentors, undergraduate research is now recognized as one of the distinctive areas of excellence at Andrews University. This symposium is dedicated to the exhibition of such research endeavors.
Undergraduate research facilitates intellectual agency, invites students to practice critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and prepares them for the leadership responsibilities of professional careers and graduate and professional school training.
