David Village is a Professor of Physical Therapy as well as Assistant Dean of the School of Health Professions at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. As a graduate of Andrews in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Physiology as well as a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1988, he began his teaching career at Andrews in 1995. Prior to coming to Andrews he was employed as a Physical Therapist in a variety of clinical settings. In 2005 he received a Doctor of Health Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine, St. Augustine, Florida.
David Village is a Board Certified Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He teaches courses in kinesiology, general medicine and geriatrics and conducts research in physical therapist education, fall prevention of older adults and service-learning.
David and his wife, Sarah, have two young-adult daughters.
