Professor Nogueira is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing.
She has spent the last twelve years serving a diverse group of cultural and age groups on thhe Medical/Surgical Unit, Medical/Oncology Unit, Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit, Medical/Orthopedics and Neurology Unit, and through Community Health Nursing.
In 2016, she received her Master’s Degree from Walden University with a focus on Nursing Education, where she is also currently pursuing her Doctors in Nursing Practice. She is a proud member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and National League of Nurses.
Professor Nogueira teaches Introduction to Nursing Concepts, Fundamentals of Nursing, Complimentary Wellness and Restoration I, and Comprehensive Overview. In addition to teaching, she is also the Director for the Skills and Simulation Laboratory and the Director of the RN-BSN program.
