In 1901, young Adventist pioneers started an educational experiment in Berrien Springs, breaking the mold of classical learning that took place at Battle Creek College for 25 years.

Fifty years ago the General Conference voted to develop a comprehensive university for the world church here in Berrien Springs, precisely because of the strength and longevity of the undergraduate program here. The world church has consistently looked to Andrews to find new educational solutions responsive to a growing and changing church, and a global community.

Strengthening the undergraduate experience at Andrews University is the best investment we can make as we confidently respond to the needs of Adventist education. A strong undergraduate experience is the heart and foundation of Andrews University.
