Financial Advisor

Please contact the Office of Student Financial Services to begin the conversation about financing your education. If you feel you need to meet with your financial advisor one-on-one, be sure to make your appointment soon. Between new and returning students, their schedules fill up fast!

Financial Aid Options

FAFSA—All eligible students (U.S. citizens and permanent residents) should fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online at This gives access to federal and state loans and allows you to be considered for other assistance in our Office of Student Financial Services (SFS). FAFSA will ask you to supply federal school codes for every university to which you are applying. Andrews University’s code is 002238.

Andrews Aid Packages—After filing the FAFSA, you must submit the following signed and dated financial aid documents to Office of Student Financial Services, Andrews University, 4150 Administration Drive, Berrien Springs MI 49104-0750 or fax to 269-471-3228:

  • If you were not able to use the IRS Data Retrieval tool on the FAFSA, you will need to provide an IRS Tax Return Transcript (available two weeks after electronic filing or within 6–8 weeks of paper tax filing). To request go to

The SFS team will prepare an award package based on your FAFSA and financial documentation. You will be assigned a financial advisor to ensure that your aid package complies with federal and state regulations, to arrange a payment plan to cover costs not financed by financial aid, and to answer questions you have regarding your account or financial aid.

Payment Plan Options

Students are able to choose different payment plans such as the 3% Rebate Plan, 1%Rebate Plan, or an Installment Plan.  Learn more about how you can pay for college.
