Orientation

When is orientation?

First Stop serves as the welcome and check-in center for undergraduate students. You’ll be greeted by friendly and helpful staff, faculty and student leaders.

Fall 2019

We offer two arrival points and two orientation options for transfer students.

  • Sunday arrival: If you are coming to Andrews with limited college experience, we recommend that you sign up to arrive at First Stop on Sunday, August 18. This will give you access to the full set of orientation programs and you’ll even be placed in a mentoring group with other transfer students for the rest of the week.
  • Thursday arrival: If you are coming to Andrews as a college veteran you may opt to sign up for a Thursday, August 22 arrival. Transfer students who arrive on Thursday will take part in an abbreviated orientation experience, August 22–25.

*International transfer students have the choice of arriving on Sunday or Thursday as well, with the added requirement that you attend International Student Orientation.
