Tuition is just the starting point–undergraduate students never pay the full price at Andrews. After scholarships and grants, Andrews can be less expensive than institutions with even lower tuition. Find out how Andrews invests in you.

Targeted Scholarship

Incoming freshmen may be eligible for the Targeted Scholarship simply because of their major. The Targeted Scholarship awards students an extra $2,000 per year. Students who qualify will have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher, and an ACT score of at least 20 or SAT Math and ERW combined score of at least 1020. This scholarship is available to freshman enrolling for Fall 2019, and Spring 2020. Students who declare the following majors may be eligible:

  • Architecture (BSA Architecture/BS Architectural Studies, BID Interior Design)
  • Visual Art, Communication & Design (BA Communication, BFA Design, BFA Documentary Film, BFA Fine Art, BFA/BS Photography, BS Visual Arts Education, BS Graphic Design)
  • Elementary Education (BS English as a Second Language, Mathematics, Language Arts, Integrated Science, Religion, Social Studies, Spanish K-12)
  • Engineering (BSE)
  • Computer Science (BS)

It is important to note that this scholarship is only available for fall and spring semesters ($1,000 per semester) for up to four years. Students must declare one of the eligible majors before the fall semester of their second year at Andrews to receive the scholarship. The scholarship will automatically be applied to each eligible student's account. Students who change their major to a major that is not eligible for the Targeted Scholarship will stop receiving the scholarship the semester after they change their major. Students who receive the Full Tuition Scholarship or are a part of the Group International & Tuition Agreement or other agreements with special tuition rates will not be eligible for this scholarship.
