Gaucher’s disease
Multiple myeloma
Niemann-Pick disease
Megaloblastic anemia
Pancytopenia
Who participates in the procedure:
Patient
Physician – one who does the procedure
Nurse – looks after needs of patient
Lab Tech – insures proper specimen is collected
                 and prepares specimen for testing
