The aPTT was corrected
from 60 sec. to 39 sec. so this means it could be factors XII, XI, IX, or VIII since they are in
adsorbed plasma and in the intrinsic pathway.
Patient plasma + adsorbed plasma =
39 sec.
So that leaves factor VIII as the one missing
3rd look at
what happened with aged serum:
The aPTT was not
corrected from 60 sec. but went to 70 sec. so this means you can rule out factors XII, XI, and IX since they are in aged serum and in the
intrinsic pathway.
Patient plasma + aged serum = 70
sec.
