disease:
eautoimmune disorder seen most often in women and is
leading cause of thyroiditis (inflammation of thyroid
gland).

thyroid- specific antigens
ewhen antibodies attach to antigen an inflammatory response is
initiated and the disease progresses to hypothyroidism
