Solid-Phase Red Blood Cell Adhesion Technology
•Microtiter plates have wells coated with antigen and plasma from patient added. Patient antibody will attach to antigen if specificity matches. Wells are washed to remove unbound immunoglobulins. Red cells coated with anti-IgG (indicator cells) are added  and plate is centrifuged.
•Principle:
•Negative test:
•Interpretation of results:
•Red cells all on bottom of well
•Positive test:
•Red cells on bottom of well and on sides of wells.
•Detection of specific IgG antibodies in plasma of patients.
•Applications:
