discussions should allow the student to:
Discuss the various aspects relative to proper specimen collection and serum versus plasma definition and utilization.
Discuss the various stages in the formation of
blood cells and be able to list the normal blood
cells found in the peripheral blood.
Discuss the specific stages in the maturation of
erythrocytes and discuss the importance of
polychromasia and the various red blood cell
indices in the classification of anemias.
