Principle:
Erythrocytes
incubated in low ionic strength sucrose solutions are
susceptible to complement mediated lysing
Clinical application:
CDA type 2 cells are negative
return
PNH cells are positive
myelosclerosis may be slightly positive
leukemia may give slightly positive reaction
