Incidence:
Older adults
1/3 of all cases had previous autoimmune disorder such
as:
Disease correlations:
Rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, or
Sjögren’s syndrome
Polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia
Antigens present:
Pan-T cell antigens:
CD2, CD3, CD5, CD7, CD4 and CD8
Antigens expected but absent:
TdT and CD1
Prognosis:
Median survival = 9 – 18 months
