Principle of all methods:
Detectable levels of free heparin-induced antiplatelet antibodies must be present in the serum or plasma of patient
Principle:
Serum/plasma from patient is added to platelet-rich-plasma of normal donor. Heparin is then added and aggregation of platelets is monitored for 20 minutes.
Donor of same ABO blood type

Donor aspirin free for 10-14 days
