Christmas Newsletter 2005

We hope this e-Christmas News Letter finds each of you doing well this Christmas Season. This year has seen some ups and downs amid lots of changes to our family.

Our youngest, Holden turned 2 years old this just a few days ago. It is hard to believe our 'babie' is now a toddler. He is full of life and loves each challange that life sends his way. I frequently find him dancing on the dining room table or jumping on his sister's top bunk bed. He gets upset when he is unable to keep up with his older brother or sisters. He is early to bed and early to rise. Much to the lack of sleep for us his parents.

Trey, our oldest son turned 4 years old this past September. He likes to help daddy around the house with his projects. He likes to help in the kitchen when he is allowed to do so. He likes being outdoors and playing in the yard. He is learning his ABC's and numbers. He likes to look at books. A few months ago we got some sticker books for the kids to use at church and he was fascinated with the rock sticker book we had. He also enjoys puzzles.

Winter, our youngest daughter wants to be everyones friend. She loves to meet people and talk their ears off about what is happening in her life. She has great dreams yet is unable at the age of 6 to decide which one is the most important one. She is in Kindergarten at Ruth Murdoch Elementary School this year and is doing well. She too loves the out of doors and animals of all kinds. She is starting to read small words. She carries a pad of paper almost every where she goes and 'takes notes' of what she sees. She also likes to draw and color. Winter is taking violin lessons from a neighbor of ours and is very excited about it.

Autumm, our oldest daughter is staying home with Jill this year doing home school. It has been quite a switch for her but she is doing well. Autumm, Winter and Jill are going to Adventures in Eau Claire this year. She is helping with cooking and house work. She likes playing educational games on the computer and is taking paino lessions. She is reading now and we enjoy listening to her read from her Sabbath School lesson and other books for children her age.

Jill's year has had the most change. Last school year she was teaching art part-time at Village SDA School. This year she is staying home with 3 of our children. Jill is involved with MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) in Niles. She also takes the kids to swimming lessons on Tuesdays. Thursday afternoon she has been volunteering at Eau Claire SDA School teaching art. Because Terry's schedule is somewhat flexable, Jill has been able to continue in her pottery classes at Andrews University. This past semister she has focused on making glazes from scratch and how the chemicals interact with each other. Jill continues to enjoy selling Usborne Books, which our kids love very much.

Terry continues to work at Andrews University in the ITS Client Services Department. This year has seen an increase in Terry's work load as he produced a video called "The Pigen Man". A friend of his, Dave Oakley wrote and acted in this monologue drama about a man that sells pigeons in the temple court yard at the time of Christ and how Christ's influnce changed his way of life. If your interested in finding out more about it check out his website at www.tld-productions.com. Terry spent time this fall replacing the furnace with the help of his dad. He is currently fixing up the front porch so it can be used year around for more then storage.

We wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May God richly bless each of you this coming year.
