Automatic Lighting

Do torches look to ugly to you (no)? Do you like natural light? Well, you are in luck! Using nighttime sensors, you can rig redstone lamps to turn on when it gets dark! During the daytime hours, light from the windows in your home keep it well-lit! First thing you need is a house!

If you build the shown mechanism on the roof, it should resemble what you see below.

The repeaters are used to that the slightest signal is immediately boosted. In the daytime, the house is well-lit.

During the nighttime hours, the house is still well-lit!

You can even use a lever to override the lights if you desire. The great thing about this build is that it can be built and used in many ways.
