Sabbath Morning = "Getting Much More out of Scriptures"

11:15 a.m. - Reports from each groups - questions, answers, applications
12:00 noon - Self evaluation, compare notes of what worked and what not

Sabbath Afternoon - "Serving with Christ"

2:00 p.m. - Small groups visit the community - various projects!

Sabbath Afternoon - "Rejoicing with Christ" = It's Sharing Time.

4:30 p.m. - Testimonies, praise songs, time of thanksgiving & altar call.

6:00 p.m. Supper

7:00 p.m. Team fellowship!!! A must, to replenish your own strength

8:00 p.m. Recreation

Living the New Life

"Anyone united with Jesus gets a fresh start, and is created new. The old life is gone, the new life blossoms" (2 Cor. 5:17, Message).

A Morning Bedside Prayer: "Take me, O Lord, as wholly Yours. I lay all my plans at your feet. Use me today in Your service. Abide with me, and bless me, and make me a blessing" (Adapted from Steps to Christ, p. 70, and Genesis 12:2).

Getting Excited about God's Word

Jeremiah's testimony: "Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O Lord God of Hosts" (Jer. 15:16).

"The youth who finds his joy in reading the Word of God, and in the hour of prayer, will be constantly refreshed" Sons and Daughters of God 136).
"The heart that recieves the Word of God...is like the mountain stream, fed by unfailing springs, whose cool, refreshing waters leap from rock to rock, refreshing the weary, the thirsty, the heavy laden" Christ's Object Lessons 130.

Five study suggestions for private study:

Pray before studying.
Think of the Bible as God speaking personally to you.
Look for practical lessons and personal guidance.
Compare difficult verses with others on the subject.
As appropriate share your discoveries with others.
