The Howard Performing Arts Center lobby and concert hall are available to rent for performances, seminars, luncheons and other events. If you are interested is reserving the lobby or concert hall, please fill out and submit the appropriate reservation request below.
Rental rates for the concert hall are calculated on an individual basis and are determined by factors such as the complexity of the event, the day and time it is scheduled, etc. Rates range from $200-$2500. Please contact us for an estimate for your event.

*The Academic Rate is for Andrews University affiliated departments using the Howard Center for programs as part of college curriculum and is non-refundable.
**The hourly rate is for events lasting no less than two (2) hours and no more than six (6) hours.

For non-academic rentals, 70% of the rental rate is required to hold a date; a reservation will not be confirmed until the deposit and contract have been submitted. This initial deposit is non-refundable if cancelled less than 7 days prior to the event. It can be applied to a later date or event if cancellation is necessary. The balance of the rental fee will be billed within two weeks of the event. Academic rentals will be charged the full rental rate to an IDC# when the rental contract is signed.
An audio technician is required for any event in the concert hall requiring sound. Audio technicians are available beginning at a rate of $26/hr. for a minimum of 2 hours. Technician hourly rates will be calculated at the end of the event and a final invoice will be issued.
The Howard Center concert hall is available for recording sessions. Recording sessions include a minimum of 2 hours with a sound technician in the concert hall and a CD hard copy or digital copy of the recording. Recording sessions do not include editing, nor is this service provided at the Howard Center.

Piano rental is $50.
Piano tuning beyond what is normally scheduled by the Howard Center will be at the expense of the renter. Management will schedule and arrange any additional piano tuning, if desired.
