On Thursday, September 29, at 8 pm, there will be a "People's Choice" Concert in the Howard Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.

On Friday, September 29, the day is packed with a variety of activities to participate in. At 10 am enjoy a campus bus tour led by director of University Relations, Rebecca May. The bus will load at the Alumni House at 9:45 a.m. Attend the Physics Homeshow at 12:30 pm in the Thompson Amphitheatre, Haughey Hall 133, as physics faculty and alumni honor Bruce Lee's 50 years at Andrews with a fascinating show of physics demonstrations at the weekly physics-math colloquium eigen*TALK. You are also invited to go on a tour of Physics Enterprises, where a number of physics equipment pieces are assembled right on campus. Meet at 2:30 pm in Haughey Hall 133. Take the opportunity to meet Andrews President Niels-Erik Andreasen and his wife, Demetra, and the new provost, Dr. Heather Knight, at a Presidential Reception and University Press Open House at Sutherland House from 3:30-5 pm. At 6:15 pm watch the Annual Homecoming Parade and enjoy creative floats, marching bands, princesses and more! At 7 pm, join Andrews students and alumni for the colorful International Flag Raising Ceremony on the campus mall, and then end the evening with a special missions vespers service with John Kent, Adventist Frontier Missions Training Director, in Pioneer Memorial Church at 7:30 pm. Directly following vespers, enjoy music and hot drinks at the Missions Caf? in the Howard Performing Arts Center and get to know some of the returning student missionaries.

On Saturday, September 30, the day begins at 7:45 am with the annual C. Roy Smith Memorial Bird Walk, led by Gordon Atkins, professor of biology. A carpool will leave from the Science Complex. During church service at Pioneer Memorial Church at 8:30 am, Andrews alumni Winsome Hope Clarke and Bruce E. Lee will be honored, along with honorary alumna Dr. D. Jeanne Andrews Willumson. At the 11:20 am service, alumni Dr. Loren B. Hamel and Sherry L. McLaughlin will also be honored. From 2-4 pm, the various campus museums and galleries will be open for perusal. From 3-4 p.m. there will be a special tribute honoring Dr. D. Jeanne Andrews Willumson, great-granddaughter of the university's namesake, and her significant donation of original John Nevins Andrews correspondence at the Center for Adventist Research in the James White Library. End the day with an evening of classical music or a bit of basketball. Listen to selections performed by the Andrews University Chorale and Sinfonietta at the Alumni Homecoming Gala in the Howard Performing Arts Center at 8 pm.
