Commencement services for 380 Andrews University students will be held on the main campus on May 4 beginning with graduate commencement at 8:30 am and undergraduate commencement at 11:30 am with both events taking place at Pioneer Memorial Church on the campus of Andrews University. Gary Hamel, author, consultant and management educator, and Jeff Fettig, chairman and CEO of Whirlpool Corporation, will be the commencement speakers. An additional 138 graduates will be recognized around the world at Andrews University affiliate and extension programs.

The Consecration service will begin at 8 pm on Friday, May 2, at Pioneer Memorial Church. Pierre Quinn, coordinator of annual giving for Andrews University, will be speaking. The title of his presentation is “Pardon Me, Do You Have the Time?”

Baccalaureate services will presented by Bill Knott, executive publisher for Adventist Review, on Saturday, May 3, at 8:15 am for graduates and 11:20 am for undergraduates. The title of his presentation is “Jericho in the Mist.”

Gary Hamel, author, consultant and management educator, will be the featured speaker for graduate commencement. His presentation will be “Exceeding Expectations.” Hamel will also be receiving an honorary Doctor of Business Administration degree.

Jeff Fettig, chairman and CEO of Whirlpool Corporation, will be addressing the undergraduates. His presentation will be “Innovation: Your Career Lifeblood.”

Graduation services will be available to be viewed live on the Internet on May 4, 2008, beginning at 8:30 am EDT with graduate commencement, and at 11:20 am for the undergraduate commencement.
