Join Andrews University for our annual holiday concerts on Friday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 4 in the Howard Performing Arts Center on the campus of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Mich.
The Welcome Christmas concert begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec 3. Stephen Zork will direct the vocal talents of Andrews—University Singers, Chorale, Canta Bella and the Pioneer Mens Chorus—in a choral narrative of the Old Testament prophetic references to the coming Messiah and continue with the New Testament celebration of Christ’s ministry on earth. The Andrews University Symphony Orchestra will also perform. There is no admission charge for this concert, but a freewill offering will be taken.
Featured choral works include Willy Richter’s Creation, Psalm 23 by Z. Randall Stroope, Universal Song by Daniel Hall, Sanctus by Maurice Duruflé and Laudate Dominum by Paul Halley. Additional choral arrangements of familiar carols will include Angels We Have Heard on High by Mack Wilberg, Sweet Little Jesus Boy by Larry Nickel, Angels from the Realms of Glory by Malcolm Archer, Magnificat by Z. Randall Stroope and Venite Adoremus by Dan Forrest.
Tickets for this concert are $5 for adults and $3 for seniors/students. Call the Howard Performing Arts Center box office at 269-471-3560 for tickets.
