If a student is having difficulty submitting their work in the assignment, and they send the file to the teacher, the teacher can submit it on behalf of the student. If Turnitin is set up for the assignment this will also enable it to go through Turnitin.

When viewing all the submissions for an assignment, you can select the edit button next to the student whose work you want to upload. Then, select 'Edit submission' from the drop-down menu. On the page that follows, you will be able to upload the student's work.

Please note that you must be within the cut-off date for the above steps to work. You can work around that limitation by creating a user-override for the student, or remove/extend the cut-off date.
