About Me

The first thing that you should know about me is that I dislike writing about myself. This is probably because I wonder what people want to know about me. I could tell you what I've done, what I plan to do, or what I would like to do. I could reveal my likes and dislikes. Or, I could even fill this page talking about talking about myself!

But I am a fairly amiable person, so I won't subject you to that.

I enjoy reading, and some of my favorite authors are Florence Littauer, Robin Jones Gunn, Eric and Leslie Ludy, and Elisabeth Elliot. I enjoy learning more about the Bible and Jesus. I enjoy listening to music (and singing along), and my current favorites are Michael Card's The Promise, and Handel's The Messiah. My all-time favorite song is Pachelbel's Canon in D.

I like paper. I like to look at letterhead, and blank journals. Perhaps this contributed to my desire to go into publication.

I like to take close-up photos of flowers.

I hate typographical errors.

I like playing with Photoshop.

I hate leaving messages on answering machines and voicemail.

I like to get offline messages on Yahoo IM.

I'm learning how to see without my glasses or contacts.

So far, my time at Andrews has been one of the best times of my life because I've gotten so much closer to God and learned to depend on Him more. It's those times when you are out of your 'comfort zone' and having to stretch, that you grow the most.

I could say more, but, as I said, I don't like to write about myself.
