Feast of Lights

I participated in the 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 Feast of Lights, the annual Christmas program put on by Andrews Academy each year At Pioneer Memorial Church. It talkes a lot of teamwork to put a program like this together.

Andews University Passion Play

I have helped with the lighting and audio at the 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 Andrews University Passion Play, the dramatization of the easter story.

Andrews Academy Talent Nite

I ran public address and audio recording at the Andrews Academy Talent Nite. This required a lot of teamwork hanging lights running cables and making everything work correctly.

Fall Fiesta

I participated in the Fall Fiesta on Tuesday October 24, 2006. This is a program geared to spanish culture awareness. It includes a flag ceremony, a spanish news broadcast, and a spanish fassion show. The program is put on by Sra. Sanchez, and the Spanish and Art classes at Andrews Academy. I was responsible for all the lighting and audio visual needs of the program. In order for a program such as this to run well everyone must work together, and be flexible. Program | Run Sheet

EnVision Dialogue

I was on of five students chosen to participate in a weekend session of dialogue regarding the Vision for Andrews Academy for the next 5+ years. The group was composed of key alumni and adminstrative figures. Throughout the meetings on Nov 11 and 12, 2006 we developed a vision for where we would like Andrews Academy to be headed.

SA Treasurer

As the SA treasurer during the 2006-2007 School year I was eligible to participate in the Lake Union Leadership Conference, a weekend of workshops devoted to developing leadership skills and sharing ideas about how to be a student leader.

Andrews University Band Fstival 2007

I participated in the Andrews University Band Festival held February 21-24, 2007 in the Howard Performing Arts Center. This is an event where musicians from 14 adventist academies come together to put on a concert in 4 days. I played the Tuba in the Festival Band.

SOW Safari (Mission Trip)

December 31 throught January 14, 2006 I traveled to Puerto Quito, Ecuador on the Andrews Academy SOW (Service, Outreach, Witness) Safari where we built a church for the local congregation. This trip was a great experience working together with everyone to get the job done.

Satellite Vespers

I have been part of the planning committee for several student lead vespers programs called Satellite. I have also arranged for the use and have setup much of the sound and lighting equipment that goes into making these programs work.

The Family Nobody Wanted

I was part of the Andrews Academy Play class, which presented "The Family Nobody Wanted" by Helen Grigsby Doss, on November 18 and 19. I was responsible for all the lighting and multimedia used in the production. After many hours of work the play was a great success.

Recording at Pioneer Memorial Church

I help with the audio production of the Pioneer Memorial Church Service. I record and edit the church service for the local radio station WAUS 90.7.
