  Das Auge ruht sicher und fest auf dem Ziel Jesus Christus.

  Eingebettet in die Ermahnung erscheint ein kurzer Aufriss der
  Geschichte Christi.

  Er ist Anfaenger und Vollender des Glaubens; sein Beispiel fuehrt &
  beschliessed, seine Kraft beginnt und vollendet die Glaubensreihe.
  Christus hat in der Stunde der Versuchung standgehalten und den
  Widerstand der Suender getragen; soll seine Gemeinde verzagen?

  Der Name des Christus leuchtet am Ende unseres Weges auf, steht
  mitten in der Wolke der Zuegen zu lesen, ist aber auch gleichzeitig mit
  unserm eigenen Schicksalsweg genannt, weil unser Glaube nicht von
  ihm loesbar ist.

  Christus ist Ziel, Zeuge, Weg, Aufgabe und Kraft zugleich.

  Sein Name laesst sich nicht auf einen einzigen Punkt des Bildes vom
  Wettkampf beschraenken, archgos = Urheber, Fuehrer.

  Glaube ist Heimweh.

  Glaube ist persoenliche Beruehrung mit Christus, ist Anschluss an ihn.

  Der Glaube entsteht durch den Dienst der Botschafter, das heisst durch
  eine jedesmal stattfindende Offenbahrung.

  Der Glaube besteht dauernd, wo der Mensch festhaelt an der Fuehrung
  Christi.

  Glaube ist Entsicherung, ist der Schritt aus dem Gebiet des
  Berechenbaren in die Zohne goettlicher Ueberraschungen.

  Glauben heisst: von Christus ergriffen und in den Strom seiner
  Liebesenergie eingeschalten sein.

  Glaube ist ergreifen der Lebenskraefte Christi; ist die unweigerliche
  Verantwortung dafuer, dass die Werke Christi geschehen.

  Glaube ist Uebermacht ueber alle Maechte der Welt.

  Glaube ist Festhalten am goettlichen Ziel der Geschichte.
