Senior Protfolio Assembly

SENIOR PORTFOLIO PRESENTATION: Seniors please bring your portfolios from home and store them in your locker for the assembly presentation. You will need them on Tuesday April 24 to make your presentations. Please pick up an information sheet from the school office on Monday, April 23. This sheet will give you all the information needed so you know how to prepare for the assembly. If you are the one or two seniors who are still working on your portfolio get it done right away. Please bring them to assembly on APRIL 24 partially done if you still haven’t completed the portfolio.ALL SENIORS WILL NEED THEIR PORTFOLIO FOR APRIL 24 ASSEMBLY. ~ S. Atkins

Concerto Night

CONCERTO NIGHT:Andrews Academy presents "CONCERTO NIGHT" on April 24, 7:00 PM at the Howard Performing Arts Center. "CONCERTO NIGHT" is a program where our own students perform solo concertos, from the classical repertoire, accompanied by an orchestra. For this program we are going to have 5 concertos: Vivaldi Violin Concerto, Handel Viola Concerto, Cimarosa Concerto for Two Flutes, Boccherini Cello Concerto, and Haydn Piano Concerto. The soloists are: Dominique Tan-ng, Aaron Capps, Joanne Lee and Ashley Reichert, Yewon Kim, and Melody Collins. Our String Orchestra will be the core group that will form the accompaniment orchestra. Please come and enjoy the talents of our students. String Orchestra will have extra rehearsals for the Concerto Night program:

3) Tuesday, April 24- 4:00-6:00 PM - HPAC (Dress Rehearsal)

Puerto Rico Openings

PUERTO RICO TOUR: Very Important News! PLEASE READ… Three spots have opened up on Tour (another female needed). We are in the final process of purchasing tickets within the next few weeks and because these spots have opened, we are encouraging AA students to sign up for this all-inclusive educational tour to Puerto Rico. Sightseeing in historical San Juan, Ponce and San German, Day trip to Camuy Caves, Boat ride in the Bioluminescent Bay in Lajas, Catamaran trip with snorkeling, visit to local beaches, eat authentic Puerto Rican food, shopping and more.
