In the first book, Tibby, Lena, Carmen, and Bridget start their summer, for the first time, apart. Carmen found the traveling pants at a thrift shop and almost threw them out. Tibby saw them and loved them, and miraculously they fit everybody. That summer Lena went to Greece with her sister Effie to visit her grandparents and accidently finds love. Carmen goes to visit her dad in South Carolina where she finds a whole new family that she is not happy about. Bee goes to Baja California to a soccer camp, where she finds being over-outgoing and pushy cannot be a good thing. Tibby, poor thing, is left at home to work at Wallmans. She starts to make a documentary with a twelve-year old girl and finds two best friends. The second book has Lena and Carmen home, Lena working at a clothing store and Carmen babysitting. Lena finds Kostos again and Carmen learn about how to love. Bridget is now in Alabama trying to get to know her grandmother through deception. Tibby is at film school in New York and trying to fit in and deal with peer pressure. The Girls in Pants starts with all of them graduating from high school. Then Carmen was at home dealing with a suprise that should be joyous, but has her mad at the world. Lena is at home in an art class, working as a waitress and trying to deal with her grandmother. Tibby is at home and finding love when she thinks she just wants to be friends. Bee is coaching at a soccer camp in Pennslyvannia and finds old problems addressed and fixed. In the fourth book, everyone is all over the world. Lena is taking summer classes at art school. Tibby is also taking classes at her college. Bee is in Turkey on an archeological dig, and Carmen is at a theater camp. I can't say anymore, I would give to much away.

Review:
"It makes one smile to realize theat there are still good and decent people in this world. Dr. Herriot is a wonderful storyteller, and he mist be a wonderful man."- Newsday
Summary:
This book is very well-written. It boils down to a bunch of short stories that happened to country veternarian in England in the thirties. Full of sad and funny escapades that happened to Dr.Herriot and his colleagues. It is a good book to sit by the fire with on a winter's night, but will not put you at the edge of your seat. Pick up whenever desired.Take as long as you want to read it, it lasts a long time.

Book Sequel #2

Book #1: Ella Enchanted

Summery:
Ella of Frell has a curse put on her at birth that makes her obey any order. She is in constant danger, especially when her mother dies and she is sent off to finishing school. She meets the prince at her mother's funeral and they become instant friends, and she keeps up with him throughout the entire book. Ella has a stepmother and two stepsisters that boss her around, but her fairy godmother helps her cope and keeps the stepmother in good spirits with her cooking. She is spunky and her situations are humerous. This is an enjoyable twist off of Cinderella.

Review:
Newberry Award Winner;"The whole work is seamless, compelling, and memorable- impossible to put down; difficult to forget."- The Horn Book

Book #4: The Tale of Despereaux

Author: Kate DiCamillo
Published in:2006
Rating:*****
Review
Newberry Award Winner;"Dear reader, light your lamp and listen to the take of Despereaux."- Kirkus Reviews (starred review)
Summary
Despereaux is a mouse; Gregory is the jailer; Roscuro is a rat; Miggery Sow is the servant girl; and many more characters come into this children's novel. They intertwine with each other in such a way that they all effect each other immensly, even if they've never met. The characters are humerous, and you'll find their situation amusing and sad at the same time. This is incredibly silly, but you have to read this no matter what age you are.
