ENDING WELL
When & Where do I see my grade?
Your grade should be available within 2 weeks of completing your course.
- For Andrews credit, login to vault.andrews.edu, click IVUE, then
click VIEW ACADEMIC RECORD. Scroll past articulated transfers and previous term grades to view this term’s
final grades.
- If you registered at your home institution for this course via the Acadeum course sharing platform, your grade
will be sent by Andrews University to your home institution.
If final grades are not available within 3 weeks of completing all work, please email assocdeanonline@andrews.edu, including your full name, course
abbreviation, number and title, as well as the date you turned in the last work or final exam.
How do I request a Transcript?
The Andrews University School of Distance Education provides services for this course.
- How to request a
transcript from Andrews University
- If you are taking the course through Acadeum course sharing, this course will be on your home institution's
transcript.
Is any extension of time possible?
- Read the Incomplete
Policy
- Loma Linda Students: The Andrews and Loma Linda agreement follows the Loma Linda policies
for incompletes, so please check with your registrar's office.
- Email your instructor as soon as you experience extenuating circumstances, so your instructor can provide
support that could lighten your load. Communicate BEFORE the course end date. Attach any evidence to support
your appeal (e.g. a doctor’s note). Include an action plan to finish with a new end date you can commit
to, within 2-6 weeks usually.
- If an incomplete is granted, clearly mark your new end date and work to finish before that date, as your
Incomplete grade will automatically change to the grade you would have earned at the time your incomplete was
granted. No further extensions of time are possible.
- If an incomplete is NOT granted, you may re-enroll in the course at any time.
Can I retake this class?
You may elect to re-enroll in a course to replace a weak or failing grade. Discuss with your advisor, as a
repeat override will need to be entered before you can re-enroll. As courses change from term to term, the sooner
you take the repeat the better. When the final grade is entered for a repeated course, your cumulative Andrews
University GPA will include the better grade earned, and exclude the weaker grade. All completed courses,
including multiple enrollments in a course, remain on your official record and transcripts forever.
