The natural wonders of the world hold a great fascination for me - I think it's because I sense the power of God and my own smallness. I like to put my trust and confidence in Somebody bigger than me!
Before my Daddy died in December of 1996, he told me he wanted me to have this desk from his collection of antiques. Writing has never been really easy for me, but lately I have discovered the power of this form of expression and expect to do much more in the future.
I like collecting and drying flowers and arranging them. This wall hanging is special though because each piece has a story - I have orchids from the first mother's day bouquet from Nels, grasses from the farm where I grew up, flowers from my doctoral students and anniversary keepsakes from Allan.
